Sometimes we need to let people know when they’re doing something that is hurting themselves or others. About this, the kabbalists say never confront a person in public. Don’t do it with witnesses. Humiliating a person is not treating them with human dignity.

Yesterday I wrote about asking ourselves questions in order to keep us connected to our soul’s goals. Another good question is,
“Have I helped the world today?”
A good way to know the answer is to check in with your body. Are you feeling a lack or do you feel fulfilled? If you are walking around with your head scraping the pavement, feeling bad about yourself, then it’s a good sign you could do with a little sharing.

Look for little ways to go outside of yourself today to help the world. “Helping the world” could be something as simple as lending someone an ear or flashing a smile to a sad person.
