With the new moon of Virgo rolling into town (Thursday night) and Rosh Hashanah just around the corner, I wanted to share a special message with you. It came out of a discussion I had with my father and teacher, Kabbalist Rav Berg, about the deeper meaning of the approaching New Year.

And here it is:

Everything, absolutely everything that materializes in our physical reality unfolds through the seven dimensions, the seven sephirot that influence and sustain our universe. As we know, the final dimension, the final and seventh phase is called Malchut. This is the realm where the seeds that have been planted now materialize and blossom.

“There are three types of ‘doers’:
   If a person says, ‘I shall do it soon,’ his character is poor
   If he says, “I am ready to do it,’ his character is average
   If he says, ‘I am doing it,’ his character is praiseworthy.”
