Wednesday, August 9th, 2006I know a lot of single people who are avoiding relationships because of bad past experiences. As painful as love-gone-sour can be, it’s important to remember a fundamental kabbalistic teaching:
The universe is a mirror reflecting back to you everything you put into it.
If you want to use a painful experience, such as a break-up, to help you grow, you must see the event as it truly is - a lesson, not a punishment. When you learn the lesson, you are relieved of the suffering, and Light and joy come into your life.
Whether or not you are currently with someone, choose one relationship that ended in flames and ask yourself what invaluable life lesson you learned as a result.
