My Red String Book Tour brought me to Israel last week for an invigorating connection with the ever-growing community of students there – Palestinian and Israeli alike. While there, I was thinking about the incredible turn of events last Rosh Hashanah and I want to tell you that although my family and I missed experiencing Israel with you in September, we are going to be there with you in full force for The Pesach Experience in Florida this April. My parents and teachers Kabbalists Rav & Karen Berg will be guiding us in our connections and in case you haven’t heard yet, this Pesach will be unlike any we have conducted in the more than 30 years. If you are ready to do some real soul searching, you’ll have the opportunity to get rid of some major baggage from your life.

I’ve Got Your Back

Kabbalists have long maintained that world unity will one day be a physical reality. And the way this will happen is when enough individual’s live by the motto of ‘love thy neighbor as thyself.’

Rav Yehuda Ashlag, the original founder of The Kabbalah Centre in 1922, discussed the importance of unity in his book The Gift of the Bible. He wrote that the words, “as thyself” tell us that we should love our friend in the exact measure that we love ourselves - and not any less. This means that we must constantly desire to be sensitive to the needs of each and every person we come in contact with.

What Am I Gonna Do?

I am writing this week’s tune up on a 747 headed to Istanbul where I will be delivering a lecture to a group of Turkish Kabbalah students.  Most of the people around me are asleep and I am sitting here replaying the hundreds of conversations I’ve had this last month, with people who came out to see me on The Red String Book Tour.
