Hurts So Good
February 22 – February 27
Perhaps the oldest question in history is: “How do I get more?”If you are like most of us, you spend your days and nights chasing the things you want – money, love, creativity, peace of mind - you name it. However, the wisdom of Kabbalah teaches that our efforts are misdirected. The truth is, if you want to receive, you have to share. What kind of sharing? The kind that hurts. This means that when it is uncomfortable for you, it is genuine. Paradoxically, true sharing is receiving. I have experienced this in my life and I have seen it countless times in the lives of Kabbalah students. Each week I read emails relating miracles that occurred after donating money that pushed a budget to the max or volunteering time when it was most inconvenient.
This week (known as Terumah), a unique energy is supporting all of us to become better sharers. If you want take advantage of this opportunity, there are many exciting projects underway at Kabbalah Centres throughout the world, including Spirituality For Kids and The Zohar Project. Both are creating dramatic improvements in the world.
To find out more about how you can donate your time or money to these history-making endeavors, speak with someone at your local Centre or call 1-800-KABBALAH.
As always, I am eager to hear about your experiences, so email me any time at yehuda@72.com
All the Best,
