I got this letter today. I cried as I read it. I feel so lucky to be able to be a part of helping people. I found the above sentence to be very inspiring.

Dear Mr. Berg:

The purpose of this letter is to sincerely thank The Kabbalah Centre for their support to the children of Malawi through NOVOC.

I have received some wonderful feedback from the CBOs that are being supported by your organization. All CBOs under this project consider themselves lucky and blessed to be part of this project. The impact on the selected CBO’s will enable them to do the work they have so far only planned and dreamt about. My recent visit to Nyanja Orphan Care gave me an opportunity to see that in only a few months the issues of hunger and starvation will be made history. Already they are thinking about a plan to sustain their work and build their capacity. These CBOs are now able to feed children, to ensure that children who are orphans and made vulnerable by HIV/AIDS have access to better medical services, food, clothing and social protection.

NOVOC will continue to commit to monitoring the funds you have so generously donated and to evaluate their effectiveness. It is clear already that the selected CBO’s are able to focus much more on providing direct benefit to the children in their care due to a significant decrease in worrying over how they will survive each day.

Finally, I would like to thank you for coming to Malawi and assisting the needy children through NOVOC. I do not need to say much about the poverty levels here. You will be glad to know that your support is reaching and benefiting directly the children who need it most.

I can only hope that this type of assistance will continue in order to enable us to support as many children as possible.

A full quarterly report will be sent by early July.
